Opel Astra launches new economic models
German carmaker Opel has announced the launch of the new Opel Astra clean and less expensive, which has a high level of CO2 emissions of just 99 grams per kilometer and consumption of 3.7 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers. This new model, although the excellent level of emissions and consumption that do not leave the power and equipped with a diesel 1.7 CDTI turbo-diesel engine 130 hp.
In addition, this new model, called Astra ecoFLEX has a maximum torque of 300 Nm and is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission. Thus equipped, this new model has become the ecology new flagship compact segment, setting new standards of performance and pleasure in its segment.
In addition to the specific drive system with an efficient thermal management, these new models also comes with a bundle of energy and reduce fuel consumption, which includes among other things, a power recovery system with intelligent recovery braking energy, aerodynamics active component and the rolling resistance is reduced. With all this, the new Astra ecoFLEX has managed to reduce CO2 emissions and fuel consumption by 17% of the base model Astra1.7 CDTI.
As explained by the German company, the new Astra ecoFLEX is another milestone in the brand strategy to lead the industry in reducing fuel consumption, combined with the highest performance and driving pleasure. Following this strategy, the German company also plans to launch four new ecoFLEX models in the coming months.
The company also announced that the ratios of the price of this model when it was launched on the market next fall.
